I'm trying to find a ESPN produced Bob Knight movie or TV show that aired maybe 15 - 20 years ago? Can anyone help?

30 for 30, likely not what you're looking for since it's a few years old:

Movie:

A Season on the Brink is a 2002 made-for-television sport drama film directed by Robert Mandel. Based on a book by John Feinstein entitled A Season on the Brink which detailed the turbulent 1985–86 season of Indiana University's men's basketball team, led by the controversial coach Bobby Knight, the film became the first ESPN television film, premiering on March 10, 2002.

The production was filmed in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The premiere of the movie was simulcast on ESPN with the unexpurgated version and ESPN2 with all profanities censored.[1][2] Future airings were of the uncensored version. The movie was also released on DVD in late 2002.

If there's a better video on YT, I haven't seen it.

I was about to post that. I vaguely remember it. But don't remember who ultimately won the spot on the team.

Yeah, Brian Dennehy played Bobby Knight. They allowed the language too which was a bit unusual for that time at least for ESPN, and caused some controversy.
