The Zurich is the Livingston Parish of PGA Tour events. I remember probably 8 years ago I was standing right on 1 fairway and Tod Hamilton shanked one next to me. Smoking a Malboro Light he tries to clean around his ball. He looks at his caddy and says frick I'm still buzzing. It was just me him, his caddy and my dad standing there and we all laughed.

It really is bush league compared to other events. I'm pretty sure Keegan Bradley was hung over during one of his rounds here. He was sitting on the ice chests at every tee box, looked like death.

I do not know him personally, so I could not speak as to whether he is consistently a jerk. The fan's comment is rather awesome though.

I have friends who grew up playing against Bubba here in Pcola and not one of them has anything good to say about him.

It's just golf. They come here to party and eat. Same as everybody else.
The difference is, they get paid to play instead of shelling out hard earned to torch that dump.
When the new City Park course opens, the vibe is gonna change. No more trips to the trashy arse West Bank to watch the pros anymore.

The first time I ever played golf with Bubba was at Perdido Bay Resort when he was 16 and as he grew with his golf game over the next 20 years he became pretty cocky little guy and when you play at his level now he ain't taken any shite from some hack in the crowd and I don't blame him.
There are a lot of folks from the NOLA area that know bubba as a young man and playing tournaments in Pensacola area. All of us are very proud of the Man he has become.
