First time in 68 years all 4 group games in a single day ended in draws.

Incredible. It's been a fantastic WC so far.

The WC is the only soccer worth watching.

I don’t keep up with soccer. I understand the words you said, but I don’t care.

Just looked him up on LinkedIn. Looks like he’s had a good career.

Wild that I was 23 and his boss and he was in his 30s back in a university IT program 20 years ago.

You're going to have a tough time convincing most American sports fans that 90+ minutes of no scoring and no winner/loser is a great event.

A 2-3 hour baseball game might have 20 min of actual gameplay. That is supposed to be more exciting because they score 5 or 6 runs?

I think the problem might be with the average American sports fan. If you actually try to understand what is happening, its exciting. Or you can just say they ain't scored no goals and change the channel.

The US Women’s National Team coach said this result was a win for immigration. Leftists can take the fun out of literally anything.

I would have thought all these people were boomers who are starting to die out by now

The score was 0-0. It proves the point that it’s boring.

Just depends what you like. I think a clearly outclassed team playing their asses off to not give up a goal is actually pretty riveting but soccer has been my favorite sport for awhile now. I’ve always liked defense more than shootouts though.
