CBS football coverage sucks at all levels

I just sat down to find a thread on this subject, fully expecting it had already been covered.
The announcers are not informed on rules and add very little to the broadcast. Their eyesight must be somewhere in the range of 20/200, but they are excellent when handling advertisement duties. They don't miss an inflection.
I'm at least relieved to know that it's not just their coverage of the SEC that sucks so badly.

Fox's actual game coverage is pretty shitty too.
NBC has always been the best.

CBS trains their camera guys to focus on nasal hairs while the ball is in play. It's incredible.
They show half the game in a face mask.
The announcers act like someone is relaying what is happening on the field to them over the phone, and are not even clear on the rules of the game. But, it's the camera work that really pisses me off, especially in their college coverage.
