They run a predictable offense and their OC sucks at adjusting. Slowik is the big offender. Yes the OL sucks and there have been injuries, but he has done nothing to adjust and accommodate those things. That is what makes a good to great OC and why one year means nothing in that vain.

He will be fine if they get healthy, fix the OL and get a new play caller. Problem is DeMeco ain’t getting rid of his buddy.

Stroud has taken a step back and I'd be fine saying it's a sophomore slump but Slowik and that OLine absolutely suck. Dell and Diggs being hurt don't help either.

I agree.

Look at the weapons he has around him currently on offense, vs. what guys like Burrow and Jackson have around them.

They haven’t been healthy at WR all year. Nico Collins is WR1 and the rest of the corp are little gadget guys that play off of Collins & what he can do.

Starters Snap count YTD

Tank Dell 60%
Nico Collins 46%
Diggs 41%

Backups

Xavier Hutchinson 43%
John Metchie 42%
Robert Woods 31%

Texans season effectively ended when they lost to Tennessee. It all but assured them of the 4 seed, which is not a good draw in a crowded AFC.

Looks like the Steelers or Chargers in the 5. The Texans could beat 1 of those at home. Obviously the Division round would be as far as they go. So worst case they loss the WC. It’s year 2 for Stroud and Ryans. Some changes to the offensive staff, focus on OL and WR in the draft/free agency still a bright future

Continues to fool everyone, including me. I love his talent and the way plays most of the time, but he continues to play like arse too often.

I mean the guy threw for 282 and a td. His defense played out of their minds. I don’t think it’s much of a referendum on him either way.

It was a playoff game every one and their dog was picking the Texans to lose but I’m sure you can spin it to where the Chargers were actually worse than the 1980 Saints so it’s no big deal
