Now that the final deadline for underclassmen to declare for the 2025 NFL Draft has passed, Mock Draft Season is here!

After getting a chance to dig into the class, there are some truly exceptional talents at the top of the group, but it looks like the best value in this year's draft will be in the range of Picks 20-60. I see depth at running back, tight end and on the defensive line, but, unlike last year, it's not a draft chock full of quarterbacks and receivers. We are very early in the process, though. With more tape study, all-star games, the NFL Scouting Combine and free agency still to come, a lot will change between now and the draft.

I tend to base my mock drafts on what I'm hearing around the league, whereas my Top 50 prospect rankings reflect what I'm seeing during my own evaluations. Keep an eye out for those rankings in the days ahead, but for now, here is my first look at how the top 32 selections could play out when the draft gets underway on April 24 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

quote:

Pick 1 Tennessee: Abdul Carter Penn State · Edge · Junior

Pick 2 Cleveland Browns: Travis Hunter Colorado · WR/CB · Junior

Pick 3 New York Giants: Cam Ward Miami · QB · Senior

Pick 4 New England: Patriots Will Campbell LSU · OT · Junior

Pick 5 Jacksonville Jaguars: Mason Graham Michigan · DT · Junior

Pick 6 Las Vegas Raiders: Shedeur Sanders Colorado · QB · Senior

Pick 7 New York Jets: Tyler Warren Penn State · TE · Senior

Pick 8 Carolina Panthers: Tetairoa McMillan Arizona · WR · Junior

Pick 9 New Orleans Saints: Mykel Williams Georgia · Edge · Junior

Pick 10 Chicago Bears: Tyler Booker Alabama · G · Junior

I know that the Big 10 has a lot of first rounders projected, but man the SEC has a ton.

Shedeur at 6 would be phenomenal paired with Pete. Hope it happens.

Is someone trading up, or do you think the Titans and Browns take QBs?

I see the Browns potentially, but does that restructure of Watson do enough to warrant just eating that dead money? I think Abdul Carter is a smart pick for Tennessee.

Also, is Ward the definite first QB? I think both are good, but do you sacrifice a QB if you are the Browns, go get help somewhere else, or trade to stockpile picks eventually?

Need to move the draft back to Radio City to hear the boos from the Jets fans after what happened the last time they took a penn st te in the top 10.

No, CBS and Walter have Sanders going #1 overall.

Seems like most mocks don't have CLE taking a QB so it sounds fairly likely they trade out.

That makes sense. I do not see that generational QB out there this year.

I still believe Carter, Hunter, and the DT from Michigan are the top 3. But I am no GM, so what do I know about this stuff?

How many Jets fans know who Kyle Brady is?

I don't think either Ward or Sanders will be a franchise QB but I definitely think Sanders will be the better pro.

Those are the best players… neither is more valuable than a above average QB though

I'd definitely take Shady over Ward if he was happy to come play for my franchise and didn't threaten an Elway / Bo Jackson / Eli refusal

I think he may have been the single best player we played all year, including the freaks OSU has.

He’s a Hall of Famer barring health issues.
