Yuri with the play of the game.

Love that guy, but wish he wasn’t on the Padres at the moment.

More useful tonight than our first baseman.

We’re about to drop a game to a team that started Yuli and Maldy, plus lost their DH on the 2nd AB of the night.

What a time to be alive.
—-don’t be a downer. Astros win 2 out of 3 vs the team with the best record in baseball.

2 really good ABs there in the 9th, then you put Diaz in to look worse than any random DAT contributor

Walker would have deflected it off his glove and turned it into a double.

Walker

Is it the bright lights of Houston that he can’t handle?

Is it his age?

Is he a mental midget?

All of the above?

What the hell is up with this guy?

Yep. At this point in time, Dubon was probably the better option, something I never thought I’d say.

Until Yordan figures it tf out, Walker and Yainer don't even matter. They need to hit better, sure. But Yordan is an elite game changer. One of the best in the game. He's hitting .206 with 2 homers almost a month into the season. If you don't have Yordan being Yordan, what does any of the rest of the lineup matter? They're not going to give you what he can. Not gonna score much or win much if he's hitting. 200 with no power.

Look at tonight, he was up with bases loaded and 1 out. He got us a mid depth sac fly to tie it. That's fine. It's just plain fine. He got the run home. But we end up losing by a run. That's a spot we need Yordan to do damage, not do the minimum.
