You gotta tip your cap to the Blue Jays for bringing in the reliever to load the bases to escape the jam. That's good scouting to know your opponents weakness.

Altuve is just up there guessing it looks like. He’s so talented it’s gonna get him in the HOF, but in these isolated bases loaded situations, he can be leveraged. I think they showed he had a .240 average with the bases loaded. He’s just not gonna take a walk thinking he’s gonna get a strike. Same can probably be said for most of the others in the lineup due to their mindset at the plate.

Yes, Tuve has always been below average with bases loaded
Bases loaded almost always helps hitters that have any approach outside of see ball, hit ball

I understand taking 2-0 after the guys threw 6 straight balls. But at that point make him do it again. You've seen the fastball so sit on that one pitch. Instead he chases 2 bouncers in the dirt. And that's just Altuve trying to do too much trying to get the run home. He took stupid swings just to try to get the bat on the ball and make contact to get the run home.
