Space City uniforms. Our 50th meeting with the Mariners this year. Yed’s contract extension is official. I got nothing else.

It feels accurate.

It’s the 10th, but it feels like we play them every week.

ETA: Just looked at the schedule. Two more series with the Mariners in July and we’re done with them for the season on July 31. Odd.

So by the end of Wednesday the Astros will have played 57 games, with 12 of them against the Mariners. Over 20% against one team. I guess it's good because they have been bad, but seems a bit ridiculous.

And even more ridiculous to be done with a division foe with two months left in the season, especially one that was supposed to be the chief competition in the division.

It's amazing how such a bad baseball team was really one play at several points in the game away from Super Regionals.

That pitching and defense made the 2011-13 Astros look like the '86 Mets.

I am just not a Javier fan. I don't think his repertoire works long term. I know some of you bag on Garcia's outlook but at least he has a pitch mix that can keep improving. I'm not so sure with Javier.

You can do a lot worse as a 5th starter/long reliever but I think this where he maxes out

Garcia has shown improvement year to year the last few seasons. Javier is the same guy he’s always been

I guess every year there's gotta be a team that just has your number no matter how shitty they are. It appears ours is the Mariners
