Gabriel should get a four-year, $6.22 million contract with a $1.17 million signing bonus from Cleveland. Total is $7.39 million over 4 years (if he's there that long)

Sanders can expect a rookie contract worth approximately $3.84 million, plus a signing bonus, which for the first pick in the fifth round, is around $384,680. Total is $4.224 million.

I hope it rankles the frick out of Sanders that Dillon gets $3+ million more than Sanders. It should be a humbling experience. Legendary.

$4.224 million is more than I expected a 5th rounder would get.

Only the signing bonus is guaranteed. If Sanders is a dick and creates conflict/distraction in the clubhouse they'll cut their losses.

Doesn't mean anything if Sanders beats out Gabriel.

Brian Brohm (2nd round) and Matt Flynn (7th round) were both drafted by the Packers in 2008.

Brohm was waived befored the 2009 season because Flynn beat him out.
