It was so dumb and racially motivated. They wanted to market the black guy to ATL and chose that over talent and potential. Traes peers can't stand the guy. He is never invited to the all star game or Olympics. Sad.

The goal for Ressler isn't to win a title. It's to sell tickets. He's got his tickets sold with Trae. He doesn't GAF about winning.

I just posted this in the overrated stars thread:
I thought Trae Young was pretty good until I saw his career numbers. Probably the biggest phony set of numbers I've seen for how good this dude is talked about being.

Lol what? Trae Young was one of the best players in college basketball the year he entered the draft. Not to mention NBA GMs have always been a little hesitant to take Euro guys that high, although that seems to be changing nowadays

That is a dumb arse take- Hawks hired Golden State’s #2 man to be their GM and he was thinking Young was the next Curry, they molded the whole team/offense around that.
And don’t forget the kings made the bigger mistake that draft.

His turnover numbers are awful. I think he's a good player but he would have to make a crazy leap somewhere to become a top 30 nba player

Probably but if Luka loses again to the Clips rnd 1 w/o Kawhi they wont really nedd to admit anything
