Does Oregon have the worst floor in basketball?

Looks like hot diarrhea every time I watch their games. Who thought this was a good idea?

it is really bad. We are in an era of cringworthy courts

the paint area no longer painted
have to name the court w/signatures painted on
unnecessary outlines of states superimposed on logos

and then there is this. shouldn't the school want their players to clearly see markings?

Its that one or the Brooklyn Nets. It makes a game look like a partially colorized black & white photo.

I almost posted that one too, it looks so weird on my tv. It’s horrible.

I hate everything about the Nets image since they moved to Brooklyn. No colors, no imagery, generic logo. They have to be the blandest franchise in all of sports.

Yes, Oregon’s is the worst. Diarrhea toilet bowl with the “tat” tramp stamp. The thing is hideous. They really should blow up Matthew Knight Arena and return playing at an old time classic, McArthur Court:

And they abbreviate Brooklyn with BKLYN. What the actual frick is that? Need the R in there.

It’s BAD.

I like the dark crowd but the court is impossible to stick around for.

I just want to know how the refs can even see the block/charge arc on that floor.

If you are under about 35 years old, you won't have a clue what I'm talking about, but the worst floor, which was really the best, was UCSB's old floor back in the 80's/early 90's at the Thunderdome that also had lines from about 10 other random indoor sports painted on the floor. Here is a video of a 1990 game where they upset UNLV--that gym was raucous.

Big Monday on ESPN was the shite back then--two Big East teams beating the hell out of each other for 40 minutes, followed by a Big 8 (now Big 12) game, then Sportscenter, then a Big West game at 11 which usually featured some underdog trying to knock off UNLV

I hate watching Oregon games because of that court. At a minimum, there should be an NCAA rule that the 'paint' must be painted a different color from it's exterior.

If they would have painted the trees their customary forest green, it would look a lot better. Brown is always so damn ugly. Did the NCAA tell them not to make the trees too dark of a color?

I keep wondering why all these schools keep building new arenas with stands that are further away from the court. Part of the home court advantage are the home fans being loud as possible. Look how much closer the fans were to the court in MacArthur Court or whatever the old arena was. The stands look closer to the action. And I like the charm on those old arenas. All the new arenas look so generic.

I wish Big Monday would go back to tripleheaders again. I would stay up to watch the late game.

Isn't that the point for the visitor teams?
