He is a great host. But when he pretends to be an analyst it is supremely annoying

When he's on Sportscenter or on Espn radio, i think he is really good as a host. Guess I havent heard enough of him analyzing, though.

hes great with college football. especially on CFB daily. and i think he started his espn career during bball halftimes on the U but hes alright.

He did have like an hour long football pre-season preview on ESPNU over the summer where he went through his top 25, and he swore up and down that West Virginia was the best team in the country.. and he just went on and on about how awesome they were going to be. I think he even guaranteed a WV vs Southern Cal national championship.. That's kinda where I wondered who this guy was and what his qualifications were.

just because he adds in his opinions every now and then doesn't mean he's trying to be mangenius or herm edwards. he just tries to spice it up so it's not boring
