They have an eye for retaining talent

ESPNs target audience are folks who don’t know how to get a license

ESPN has long been more concerned with cutting salary than retaining talent.
Perkins probably lives in an empty office, and gets paid in free meals at the ESPN cafeteria. He doesn’t draw enough viewers to make a difference if he stays or goes.

ESPN has made it pretty clear they only care about generating clicks. They don’t give a shite about retaining real talent

You got two guys doing Pelican games who are both 10 times better in Wesley and AD, and who knows how many other analysts out there are better qualified you could hire and I'm sure less money, and you promote and reward Perkins who even after years of experience still struggles with the English language and gives repeatedly bad takes???
Who is making these decisions???

What a world that this clown at a second grade reading level can be an analyst on national television!

ESPN programming legitimately looks like BET most of the time.

The NBA is going to suffer from a ratings standpoint if ther'es more Kendrick Perkins and the rest of the couyon's on ESPN and less TNT.

He's from Beaumont, Texas and hates white people. He's perfect for ESPN.

Gun or drivers? Never mind, it doesn't matter

It's pretty cool that an illiterate piece of shite from the projects could make it to the top of the mothership.
Keep cooking Perk.
Just don't give him an IQ test

I specifically avoid ESPN basketball coverage because of Perkins. He’s the worst “analyst” of all time.
Maybe, just maybe, ESPN would retain viewers and be able to pay those higher salaries if they put knowledgeable people on tv that can actually form a coherent thought.

Why the hell are they doubling down on that clown when he just started what looks like a Pay Day esque scam of a company designed to frick dudes out of NIL money?

Wasn’t just revealed that he is involved in basically a loan shark type scam where he takes advantage of high school athletes?
