She's not a good singer regardless of genre or style. Her "Benny and the Jets" cover that was played every time Zobrist went to bat before they split was awful.

Sure, but identifying as a nonbeliever definitively signals no belief and the claim has always been these people are less moral than the religious on a macro level. I don’t see how that is defensible in light of such data.
Going to prison is a lot like being on your death bed. You are going to get a higher number of "believers" at that point at which you have little to no hope.

I would get a dna test on my kids
From a financial standpoint, you might still be on the hook, depending on what state it's in.
And more importantly, if the kid is older than say 4 or 5, and you've already created all these memories and have that connection, are you just going to walk out?

When I was in junior high, our Methodist preacher allegedly had an affair with a lady in the church. Some people walked in on them in the choir practice room. Caught in a passionate embrace, and questioned about it, he said he was consoling her.

Damn. Dem some nice full titties. I’d risk the massive overbearing crazy for a weekend of hedonistic unrestrained fun. She’s loco.

Poor people commit crimes.
Poor people also are more likely to Not be an atheist and identify with a religion.
Correlation is not causation
You know what else is true? Atheists are more likely to commit suicide than people who identify with a religion.
Correlated not caused.

Another antidote this story reminds of is some years back in a terrible tragedy 3 young preachers and their wives were killed in a bad traffic accident. When they got to the pearly gates and met St. Peter the following transpired:
The Presbyterian preacher approached and was told by St Peter he could not enter because he was addicted to money, in fact he was so addicted he wouldn't marry until he met a woman named Penny.
The Methodist preacher approached and was told he could not enter either, he was addicted to alcohol, in fact he was so addicted he wouldn't marry until he met a woman named Sherry
The Baptist preacher, hearing all this, turned to his wife and said, "well Fanny, I guess we may as well turn around and leave now".

I think you're telling this joke wrong. And even if I read it as I think it's supposed to be told, it doesn't make sense/isn't funny.

I don't get the joke. But you're reading it wrong. The parts you bolded aren't contradictions.

So she cheats on her husband, he tries to attend to the situation by taking a leave from the Cubs, and now she's trying to get an extra $4 million of "marital assets" that he never earned because of that leave of absence.
Not a very "Christian-like" performance from you here lately, Julianna. That's one thing that drives me nuts about these uber-religious people. They're so quick to judge others and preach right and wrong, when they're some of the biggest scumbags out there.

“In 2019, he had a contract with the Chicago Cubs for ($12 million), but since he only played for 2 months, his salary was prorated and he only earned ($4.5 million) of the ($12 million) he could have earned,” according to the memorandum filed July 14 in Williamson County, Tenn., by Julianna Zobrist’s attorney, Marlene Eskind Moses of Nashville-based MTR Family Law.

Julianna Zobrist is seeking an even split of the marital assets, plus an additional $4 million for the “amount of money he failed to preserve by abruptly and intentionally failing to satisfy his baseball contract.”

Tim and Erin Dillard (former Brewers pitcher and his wife) are on the witness list per the Tribune article posted above. Want to bet they are Ben's corroborating witnesses for another affair she had?

Damn, I feel bad for Ben actually

Read that article earlier today. She's downright evil. That's a pretty ballsy claim to make when she was the entire reason he took that leave of absence.
