Georgia High School football Playoffs(GHSA) Round 2 brackets.....

There are games being played today (McEachern/Newton and South Atlanta/Lanier most notably and all of A Div-II) and I will link that bracket tomorrow once everything has been settled:
Some big matchups next week, biggest amongst them is Valdosta-Carrollton at Gresham in Carrollton. Also Lowdens-Buford and Thomas Co.Central-Rome

I have added the Class A Div-II bracket as that is now completely filled in from the games yesterday and I have updated 6A. McEachern lost to Newton by one point, 30-29.

I hope Jones can make a game of it. Marist seems to be on another level. Seems like Jones Co always has a tough draw in 2nd round

They're #8 in the state and one of the traditional south GA powers (and obviously Valdosta's rival being in the same city).

A PI was called against Valdosta wasn't close and another call against Valdosta (interferring on punt return) Walton also got a bad PI call.Other calls missed but just remember the replays showing how bad the calls were missed but don't remember the specific calls
The level of officiating seemed very poor for a playoff game but I really don't watch much HS FB so this could be the norm.

Thankfully the officiating didn't effect the outcome of the game.Just hope the officiating improves with the next round.
