If you watch that clip it seems to me like he’s being self deprecating. Like “dumb high school girls love me but not real eligible women I can actually get with”.

Bingo. The "call everyone famous a pedo" thing has gotten weird. He's obviouly making fun of himself saying he couldn't get girls before he had money, and smart girls still figure out he's a dork. Or something along those lines.
