Potential D3 non-select quarterfinals.
ETA but it's a legitimate Sulphur-type matchup.

Doyle and Sterlington lost some games at the beginning of the season while their basketball players were out. That's substantial for both.
For instance, that's without the West sisters for Sterlington, which is the only loss for Calvary Baptist.
Doyle has blown out some good teams and beat many more.

I was reviewing some stuff last night and noticed that last year, Fontenot hit 18 HRs in 49 or so base hits. Crazy percentage

Then that should be a really good matchup against marksville bc their freshman pitcher is a stud also but marksville’s hitting is not very strong.

French Settlement also has a really good shortstop. Girl is a pure athlete. I think she’s also a basketball stud.
French Settlement will be a tough out.

They also have the power hitting outfielder (lefty) who got in trouble for beating up a boy in the stands of a basketball game. Lol.
She’s also a really good player.

Doyle is up there with the best teams in the state in any class.
Savant, Rivero, Edler, Collins.
It's a shame Sterlington or Doyle won't make it to Sulphur.
D3 is the toughest bracket from 1-8. D1 nonselect is the toughest from top-to-bottom IMO.
ETA and Shelby Taylor (thought for a minute she was already at Houston)

What are your thoughts on Dominican at Acadiana?
Dominican has lost a lot of games lately, although many have been close vs. stellar opponents.
Mount Carmel is in the midst of a losing streak, but I picked the Cubs to beat Captain Shreve. The host picked Shreve.

Crazy that in D1 non select there are 5 teams from one district in the final 8! Tells you how tough that district is. I think EA pulls it off against STA. Between Tullier, Creel, and Stevens twins, they finally get the win.

Didn’t see post. Mt Carmel lost Paige, ace pitcher and big bat. They’ll struggle when facing a team w better pitching. Scrappy team though, team hits well, beast of a catcher.

Another game to keep an eye on is D4 select, Riverside vs. Catholic P.C. I think Catholic P.C. pulls it off but it should be close.

we played both, catholic pc >>> riverside unless i'm missing some variable.
