Like having ivy instead of padding for an outfield wall?
I think that is more dangerous than what is at Minute Maid/Enron.

It manages to provide an intimate setting for a 40,000-seat stadium and it's a beautiful park. Only gripe I've had with it is the gimmicky field dimensions, especially the crazy variation between Left and Center fields. I'm glad they're making this change.

I always thought that hill was lame. Looks 10 times better with the proposed renovations.

At least the ivy is on the entire outfield wall. I'm sure that hill could sneak up on you if you're looking over your shoulder tracking down the ball.

That hill gave us some pretty sweet diving catches/suicide dives though.

You aren't tracking a ball at 400 plus feet, plus you have a warning track before the hill.
And Crosley did have a hill.

There are no known injuries caused by Tal's Hill over its 13-year history, but that doesn't mean one isn't coming.
Today's players don't have much if any experience with the once common but now rare outfield embankments. Even if they did, changing inclines while running full speed and looking up to track a ball is still dangerous.
"They need to take that thing out because it's real bad," Timo Perez said, according to a story from the Houston Chronicle archives. "I thought I was going to get Berkman's line drive. When I went to put my glove out, I didn't have any more balance. My head hit the ground before I knew it. I hope nobody breaks their neck out there because it would be really sad."
That same story claims Craig Biggio suffered whiplash from falling face first on the hill.

Before we moved to Price Cutter Park we had a flagpole in play at Meador Park.
Nobody hit it and it never came into play (1961-200)

When I first saw the park, I couldn't believe an unlevel playing surface was legal. It always seemed a step away from turning parks into putt putt courses.
Putt putt is more entertaining than major league baseball.

I've been to easily over 100 games at minute maid and have never had a bad seat.
When I think of bad site lines, I think of something obstructing your view. Where the heck were you sitting at that had something in your way?
