How is Al Horford still in the NBA

Dude's been playing for what feels like half a century

He works hard. He learned several years ago to shoot 3s albeit not great. Big men who hustle and rebound and work hard have a role
In a sport that gets filled every year with young egos, he is probably a great locker room presence as well
He could probably be the head of the players union at this point on how to make it in the nba

I don’t think it can be overlooked that he might just be a freak athlete.
On top of that, he seems to be a wonderful person who probably does everything a professional should.
Also the basketball IQ seems very high, he hustles his arse off, and has an amazing feel for where the ball will be.

Wish he was still on the hawks but glad he got a championship even if it was with Boston

He’s younger than CP3 and LeBron

Avoided major leg injury
learned to shoot the 3 ball
has crazy high BB IQ so he defends and knows how to be in position

Baw married a former Miss Universe. She keeps him young

Very weak class of Miss U candidates that year

I don’t know why I feel like he’s been in the league since the 90s, but it does.
Probably because he was there in FL’s NC teams.

How about those like myself, remember when Dale Brown kicked his dad off the Lsu team

Yeah. Noah and Brewer haven't played in about 5 years.

He and Noah together were the thing of nightmares in college. They would wear down opposing teams, then go to work on them.

And Noah has been out of the league forever, and Noah had a long career!

But not for free. Probably cost him a million.

The same way CT3 is still in the league.
At least Horford was a top collegiate product when he entered the NBA.

He has more talent than other players that are younger than him.
