How much does ESPN pay Corso?

I’m not even a Corso hater. He should be able to do the headgear pick for as long as he wants.
I’m just curious to see how much ESPN pays him for a 20 minute appearance each weeks

Whatever they pay him, it’s too much

At some point your health should come first
He needs to rewatch it when he goes home and see how bad it is
Someone should step in and end it
You really have to feel for him at this point

Looked it up and several sources all same the same: $54,000 annually. Surprised by this.

Jesus, they had to have decreased his pay

Agreed. But do you force him out???? He’s a national treasure.. but he does struggle way too much. I think he would be very lost without having game day to look forward to.

Gameday has probably kept him alive the last few years. I guarantee you he would have died if they moved on from him 2 seasons ago

That's disgusting honestly. He should get paid at least $150K. Lots of people tune in for the picks just to see him.

2. ESPN Contract:
Lee Corso has been an integral part of ESPN’s College GameDay since its inception in 1987. He signed a multi-year contract with ESPN, which reportedly pays him an annual salary of $2 million. His charismatic presence and expert analysis have made him an indispensable asset to the network, justifying his significant earnings.
that $54,000 figure is a bunch of AI websites quoting each other with misinformation
I dont know where that number comes from, maybe that is what ticonderoga pays him or something

Why does Corso bother people so much?
He's responsible for making Coll3ge Gameday what it is and can go out on his own terms.
He's probably on set a total of 20-30 minutes each week and the headgear pick is primarily all he does. It's not like he's there slurring it up the full 3 hours.
