If you took away every goal Wayne Gretzky ever scored in the NHL, he would still be the All Time Leader in points scored in the NHL. Truly insane to look at stats and see Gretzky putting up 215 points in a single season.

He’s the GOAT of the major 4 American Sports.

Babe Ruth & Gretzky are the only two athletes that I can think of that came along and revolutionized their sport.

Gretzky's dominance was insane. His points during childhood and in lower-level leagues as he prepared for the NHL were unbelievable

I mean MLB started in 1903 so revolutionizing the sport ten years after the league started isn’t that wild

He was one of my idols as a kid... unfortunately, this was in Pittsburgh, right when Mario Lemieux was just getting started. I think I was probably the only person in the city who pulled for Gretzky and the Oilers (and later the Kings) whenever they played the Pens.

The modern World Series started in 1903.
