I can’t do the ESPN app anymore! Done with it

I have always enjoyed the ESPN app to check scores, etc. however, the damn app will not stop sending me notifications no matter how many times I select the app to not send notifications in the app’s setting. 5-10 notifications per every hour about sports teams I do not care about like WNBA, Soccer, NFL teams I don’t care about, MLB teams I don’t care about, etc etc etc
It’s a huge bug in the app
My question - do any of you on here use another sports app that displays scores, etc?

You can update your push notifications on espns app and pretty much all your iPhone apps
The action app is a much better app for score tracking. More benefits if you gamble but easiest interface to use and covers almost every sport (college baseball is the only exception I think)

Delete the app.
Reinstall it.
You should be fine. I do not have this issue with the espn app at all.

In addition to the app itself, can you go into yoru phone settings, click the Apps menu, then disable them there?
I have the ESPN app just for scores but have never received any notifications from it.

ESPN is owned by Disney and has a multi billion dollar budget and has one of the most dog shite streaming apps I’ve ever seen.

It's crazy how buggy and sluggish it has been for years, yet it never improves.
You'd think with the contracts they hand out, and the rising subscription fees, they could sacrifice a fraction of a percentage to at least make it better than dogshit.

I use an app called “the score” you can customise the feed to the sports you care about.

If you dont want any notifications, just turn it off completely in the notifications setting page on the iPhone.
