This would only work as a summer league when people are hungry for football again and the only thing going on is the middle of the MLB season. I’ll never understand why they keep trying to do this in the spring with the NFL and CFB just wrapping up

Sprint football is always a doomed project. But some suckers seem to never learn.

Once NCAA converted to Minor League football it kinda puts a damper on any other minor leagues

AJ McCarron not playing killed it.

I’ll be honest, we live 3 miles from Choctaw Stadium where the Renegades play and we had no idea the season had even started again until we drove by during the game, last weekend I think. Lack of marketing hurts.

I happened to turn to a channel that had a game on. If there was 2500 people there I would be stunned.

They've done a pretty awful job of promoting it. ESPN doesn't even list the stats on their site which is insane considering they air most of the games. I don't understand why they keep buying rights to sports leagues and then just toss the content into the ESPN+ ether calling it a day.

Also, lol at the dipshit who decided they should be called UFL w/o owning the UFL.com URL. Should have just stuck w/USFL or XFL.

I was under the impression that the UFL is like one of those bowl games that no one attends, but makes money because it is on tv like the Bahamas Bowl or Frisco Bowl. That the money from advertisers and subscriptions to ESPN and streaming services justify the league's existence.

Shouldn’t the NFL be subsidizing this

I say yes. They could use it for scouting and testing new rules or something.

Where would the wnba be if the nba wasn’t subsidizing the league? Has it ever had a profitable season?
