Is Austin Reaves better than Tyler Herro?

I heard someone say this yesterday, and I laughed my arse off…but then I started thinking about. I’m not laughing anymore.

They’re pretty close. I’d say Herro is a better pure shooter while Reaves is the better finisher around the rim. Neither should be your 1st option on a team.

No he’s not. Austin is a third option and Tyler is the first with better shooting percentages on higher volume.

Im sure Doc would say his boy Austin is better than Herro. Herro plays to much Hero ball and Rivers just lets the game come to him and then he attacks. I say Rivers is better!

Reaves makes $13.5 million, Herro makes $30 million. For that reason, Reaves is better

I traded Hero for Reaves in nba 2k25 and Reaves has averaged a few more points and rebounds for me so I go with Reaves.

For what they are and what the bring. Yes give me Reaves over herro for cost.
If head to head, Herro is the slightly better player.
