Is it possible Sanders is medically red flagged?

It’s one angle i haven’t heard anyone mention. Didn’t he miss the end of the ‘23 season with a “fractured back” or something? Anything to the neck or back, even if its a hairline fracture is usually going to plant a red flag. Throw in all the other topics and assumptions and there you go.

I feel like that would have leaked out at this point with all the coverage over it. I’m sure it’s at least another consideration in it though

Not a medical issue so much as a "measurables" issue... In the same way Will Campbell's arms were borderline too short, Sanders' ego was a bit too large.

The Tyler Shough picks was atrocious by the Saints. He finished 22nd in QBR this year.

Yes, it matters. Jayden set an FBS record 208 passer rating vs a top 10 SOS. Caleb Williams was 43 points lower at 165 vs a 40th ranked SOS. Anthony Richardson stats sucked in college and sucked in the NFL. Burrow had a Jayden like season just more geared towards passing, and look how he's doing.
Stats vs level of competition in college matters.
