Is Travis Kelce a first ballot hall of famer?

Has to be right?
Dude has been unreal and basically took the mantle from Gronk once he slowed down.
Gronk will go down as one of the best ever but Kelce has to be right there when it’s all said and done.

I would vote for him first ballot, but who knows what the voters will do. They are going to put someone super mediocre like Eli in, possibly first ballot, so does it really matter?

Is Jimmy Graham a hall of famer is the better question.

Kellen Winslow says howdy.

Gonzalez/Gronk are 1a, 1b. Kelce is not all that close to either imo

Not yet. Doesn’t Jason Witten have better career numbers at this point? Is he a first ballot?

it is crazy that Eli's regular season record is 117-117 but 366 TDs + the two years he won Super Bowls he went 8-0 in the playoffs with 15 TDs and 2 Int. That isn't mediocre

Eli is a goober for sure and not a top 10 alltime QB or anything, but he is Top 10 all time in pass attempts, passes completed, passing yards, passing TDs, and has 2 Super Bowl rings as a starting QB. Also has the most consecutive games played by a QB.
Pretty much impossible not to put him in the HOF first ballot despite the eye test.

Yes, no doubt. I can’t think of another TE the last 15-20 years with better stats than him.

Written and Kelce both first ballot

Mediocre QBs have won super bowls and done well in the playoffs

He’s not a total scrub or anything, but a lot of his records are a product of compilation and not necessarily being a stud. Also he played in the era when they started passing way more.

And poor Jimmy graham. If he stuck with drew he would be in the conversation. But dude was a bitch.

Will never be the blocker Gronk is, and Gronk has a much prettier woman

Not only doesn't he hold that record (Favre), he doesn't even hold the record for quarterbacks named Manning.

Was Eli ever a top 5 QB in the league at any point in his career?
Very, very good QB and the 2 Super Bowls over New England carries a ton of weight as it should, but compilation numbers, especially at quarterback, and the way the game has changed, has really skewed the way careers compare over eras.
I feel like football, more than any team sport, should be judged with how players of a certain era compare to their peers imo
