Lived in Denver during the late 80s and 90s and as a Nuggets fan hated him. He had the tough guy image but for most of his career he was mentally soft and wilted under pressure.
And he used to recite his kids' names, at least some of them , when he was was getting ready to attempt a free throw to help him get over his jitters, something that announcers used to slobber over.
