Juan Soto throws Mets hitters under the bus, Captain America responds with class and grace

The Post
It’s no secret that Fatass Soto is off to a HORRENDOUS start to the season, and he has gone on record saying it’s because, his quote, “I don’t have the best hitter in baseball hitting behind me anymore”. This is, of course, in reference to the best hitter in baseball, Captain America, The Punisher, Aaron “THE JUDGE” Judge.
When asked about the quote, of course THE JUDGE being the consummate professional that he is, answered with class and dignity.
This is the difference between good and great. While Fatass Soto throws his teammates under the bus, the best player in baseball from their crosstown rival defends his former teammate’s teammates. This is why the Mets will always be a B- franchise.
“The Centerpiece” Trent Grisham is still hitting .343 with 4 dongs and 10 RBI, all higher than the abysmal start that Fatass Soto is off to.

Judge said he was not going to get into a back-and-forth with Soto on the matter, but downplayed his own part in it. “[Soto has] got probably one of the best hitters in the game behind him right now with what [Pete] Alonso’s doing,” Judge said Tuesday at Yankee Stadium. “It’s been fun to watch. He’s hitting close to .400 [.345 entering Tuesday], driving the ball all over the field, driving guys in. They’re going to be just fine.

Don’t let this distract you from the fact that the Yankees are down 2-0 to the Kansas City Royals in the 5th inning

Oh no, not down by two in early April!

I think a story involving the best player in baseball and the falloff of a player that was going into this season as top 3 is more than acceptable for a board entitled “More Sports”.

This took you longer than I expected
since you didnt provide the actual quotes and are just spewing your typical childish bullshite. Here is Soto " throwing Mets hitters under the bus"
Soto said the team approach is more important than his own numbers.
Soto just homered in the second straight game as i was putting this together.
since you didnt provide the actual quotes and are just spewing your typical childish bullshite. Here is Soto " throwing Mets hitters under the bus"
quote:
“It’s definitely different,” Soto told The Post before the Mets faced the Twins. “I had the best hitter in baseball hitting behind me. I was getting more attacked and more pitches in the strike zone, less intentional walks and things like that. I was pitched differently last year.”
quote:
“I would say I am getting a decent amount of strikes, but there’s some specific situations where pitchers don’t attack,” Soto said.
quote:
“I feel like I am trying to be the same: do damage when I can and whenever they want to attack me I take my chances and when they don’t I just take my walk,” Soto said. “I am not trying to be selfish or anything and try to hit homers every time. I am just trying to take my pitches and take my swings whenever I can and when they don’t want to, I pass the baton to my teammates.”
Soto said the team approach is more important than his own numbers.
quote:
“Everybody has got a role and I feel as a team, we have got to attack pitchers as a team,” Soto said. “We don’t have to attack the pitchers as individuals. If they don’t want to pitch to me, I just pass the baton and let [Alonso] do his thing. If they don’t want to pitch to him, he should do the same thing.”
Soto just homered in the second straight game as i was putting this together.

Good to cut back, but it’s hard to keep quiet about the best in the game and the consummate leader. Captain America is giving us another reason why he deserves this title. It’s ok for Astros to do Daily Threads but we’re not allowed to talk about the Greatest? Sounds like double standards to me.

No cap. The bottom feeders of the NL East and AL West get daily threads. Big news like Team USA naming its Captain and the best player in baseball showing class and grace in the face of the former third best player in the game with one of the biggest falloffs since Chris Davis are all worthy talking points for a sports message board.

You can start a daily Yankees game thread.
Not a problem.
