Are we any closer to getting rid of this Select/Non Select garbage? Or still rocking 10 different state champions and playoff byes every year?

Liberty is good and has a good chance to repeat….but they are trash…..typical AAU BS. No discipline.

I disagree.I have interviewed Dr White (coach) this year and last year. Very impressed with everything about their program.

Couldn’t disagree more. Have watched them play. PG play is very good. Can get to the goal whenever he wants. Have good shooters. And have a good big. But, they are classless. Starts at the top with the coach. Got kicked out 2 years ago for fighting with Zachary. And they haven’t changed.

The culture of that program is terrible. Has been for years and "Dr." White is the leader... Did you see the Central/Liberty pregame ? ..the coaches at best let that happen right in front of them..at worst instructed them to do it...but on the flip side they are good... especially if fouls are not being called...if they call it tight Liberty will be ineffective

Name me one good D1 college basketball team that acts and play like Liberty.

Many thought that was funny after Central’s pregame march during football.

I guess...but in football the other team was in the locker room and it was basically Dad's protecting the home turf ....LoL ...I just can't even pretend HS sports are as important as some fans/parents think they are

If not kicking them out of the playoffs, they at least deserved to forfeit that night… the sad part was if Central retaliated, they would have been hit with techs and suspensions too

“Dr”…. Now that’s funny. These high school coaches should be worried more about developing young men to be productive members of society. If you think LIberty’s coach is doing that, i got news for you. The MOST undisciplined team I’ve seen this year. And that’s taking NOTHING away from their talent. They are the best team in the state.

Go watch Scotlandville play. I have no clue what their coaches name is….but I can tell you he instills discipline in his team and is tough on them. in turn, his team plays disciplined ball. From the outside looking in, it looks like he’s worried about developing these kids on and off the court.

Name me one college that plays defense as aggressively as they do.

I’d say the offense they run is similar to a lot of college teams. I am unable to give you specific names because I do not watch a lot of college.

Obvious "Levels" to each Division.

There are "contenders", then major drop offs in each bracket.

Anyone have a "Cinderella" out there they know of that can maybe steal a couple of wins?

Just looks pretty top heavy in each division.

Louisiana has a pretty solid "core" of teams this year around the State.

but...there is a drop off in talent after those top tier teams.
