Longest Throw?

"Many believe Vinny Testaverde's 80-yard throw in the 1988 "Quarterback Challenge is the longest in history."
Does a non-pressured pass count?
I guess the question is who had the legitimate strongest arm. Not short strong arm like Marino, dude could whip a 20 yard out like nothing but couldn't throw a Hail Mary to save his life.
I'm talking long arm bombs, not short arm bullets.
Randall Cunningham?
Elway?
Namath?
Bert Jones?

Michael Vick. I saw him throw it out of a stadium on a commercial once.

Kordell is legit. Might be the most impressive throw in football history.

25 to the other 5. About 70 in air

Didn't Flacco have some insane throw at the combine or his pro day?

Only before Al Davis died. Exhibit a:

Yeah, he threw it 74 yards.
But I've never found anything that beats Vinny.
Maybe Kordell does. He was under 80..
But it's a real game with pressure.

Didn't Jamarcus and Kyle Boller throw it through the uprights from midfield on a knee? Not game situation but I think I remember those guys doing it

probably not the longest throw I've seen but one of my favorite TD bomb highlights of all-time.

Vinny threw it 80 yards.
But there are limitations on human achievement.
Can a human throw it 90 yards?
It's like an Olympic question - what can a human arm do?
We celebrate Usain Bolt and the stupid javelin...
Well who throws the different oblong ball that so many nations use farthest?

Why would pressure matter? If anything, you'd expect the farthest throws to come with full adrenaline in a game situation.

WTF are you talking about? Go routes were the bread and butter of the Dolphins offense with Marino at QB and Mark Clayton and Mark Duper at WR.

David Klingler threw a ball in practice 75 yards back in 1990

Not sure how legit but there used to be a rumor that Jason Campbell could toss it 60 yards from his knees.
