Essentially, Tuberville's wife runs a red light and hits a car being driven by an elderly woman whose husband is in the car with her. The husband died as a result of the injuries sustained in the accident. The case remains open.

Suzanne Tuberville is a Stepford Wife. I waited tables when I was in school at AU and on multiple occasions watched her go through an entire bottle of chardonnay while drinking with friends. Hopefully, for her sake, alcohol wasn't a factor.

Wasn't she known to chew pain pills like they were skittles?

C'mon, man. A bottle of wine is 4 glasses. Drinking that in an evening with friends is not some feat of drunkenness.

I wouldn't be drunk either...but I know many people that would be.

Sounds like the Purdy's family attorney is hoping it is related to the crash so they can sue.

Stepford? I don't think it means what you think it means.

Tommy's wallet is about to get hit hard. His auto insurance will pick up a piece of this, but I highly doubt he has enough coverage to handle a death, especially if she was drunk.

Divorce might be cheaper.

There isn't anything showing she was drunk, other than the OP's recounting of previous interactions. The lawyer of the family stated that she had been charged with one charge after the wreck, which one would assume was the running of the red light. If she had been popped with a DUI charge, you would know it by now.

Agree with the part of it costing a chunk of change if this guy died as a result of the accident though. Why I stated that it appears as though the attorney has his fingers crossed the autopsy confirms this.
