Is it that unreasonable given the potential future earnings? There are hundreds and hundreds of eligible prospects each year. YOU may not like the system and that’s fine, but if the nfl franchises find value in it what’s the problem? None of the players are being asked to do anything unreasonable at the event.

But teams don't get anything from interviews with the media. In fact, the media probably got more out of the him not doing interviews than they would've got from him giving mundane answers to softball questions.

What does that have to do with my response to this exchange.
Regardless if a team is considering making you and extremely high draft pick and face of their franchise a couple of questions from a reporter shouldn’t be a ton to ask. It’s all part of the gig being in the nfl at this point.

It’s nothing to me. And I never said he had to do this press conference. I’m just asking the buckeye fan to take his scarlet and silver glasses off and acknowledge that if this was Braylon Edwards or Desmond Howard he’d be ragging on him.

Then why accept the invite at all? Hell why bother even being drafted and playing the games for that matter? Just put them in the HOF and call it a day.

Knew this was coming. Early morning ESPN talk radio has been saying that players need to do this. I knew they were just laying down early cover for someone just didn’t know who it would be.
