seems like the early thursday group is gonna get fricked by the weather this year.

the early friday groups will probably have a damp course and low wind

I guess the greens will play slower so maybe we see some good scoring tomorrow.

I’d be surprised if his body can handle walking 36 holes in a full 48 hrs. He WD’d last year after weather impacts

Wrong. Winds are supposed to be 20mph Thursday and Friday. The first two days will be like the Open.

Temps will be in the lows 50s Friday morning for first tee off.

And by Sunday it’ll be scorching hot in the mid 80s with no breeze. This is a pretty awesome weather weekend to test these guys.

Tee times have not been delayed yet, only opening the gates. They are waiting to see if tee times need to be pushed back.

Officially delayed.
First round will not begin before 9am ET.

Weather really doesn’t look too bad, should clear out by 11AM.

Anyone gonna start an official thread?

The bulk of the rain has moved east of Augusta. There are some lingering scattered showers behind the main rain shield, though. Some of those look to potentially impact Augusta over the next couple of hours.

Yeah, I live about 15 miles west of the course and it's not raining at all right now and it didn't rain anywhere near as much last night as they thought it might so hopefully they'll be able to go without too much delay
