Point proven, thanks

46 fouls called. Not sure how Laker fans can actually enjoy this brand of basketball.

And that discussion of course will not include why Rui was wearing a mask tonight.

The Timberwolves played very physical in game 1

None of you complained

When the Lakers match their physicality in game 2, you guys are crying more than the players you say are crybabies.

Fouls
Lakers 24
Wolves 22

Free throws
Lakers 20/20
Wolves 20/25

This was a dream scenario for the average Lakers hater where the Lakers got more fouls called against them and shot less free throws.

Their primetime game tonight was an embarrassment.

Thunder Grizzlies was a decent game actually. Memphis cut it to single digits a few times.

Last night's game 2 was rigged in favor of the Lakers

No way was the NBA going to let them lose in Round 1

NBA is becoming the WWE

My biggest takeaway from this Lakers series is this is the first time in Lebrons entire career that he has not been in the conversation for best player on the floor in a series. He has not looked slowed down this year or ever before, but through 2 games he definitely looks different in the playoffs than I’ve seen in the past. Curious to see if it continues.

Playoff Gobert in full effect.

53 minutes played against a Lakers team who literally don't have a center. Jaxson Hayes has played single digit minutes in both games, and the next biggest player that is playing is Lebron.
He's got 8 total points, 12 rebounds and 1 block over these 2 games.

KAT game 1
23 points on 10-14 shooting
11 boards
5 assists
4 steals
2 blocks

The Lakers don't have a center that needs guarding around the rim (or a center at all really) so Gobert's strengths are greatly minimized. Luka (and even Reaves) pull him out of the paint and work him on the perimeter. This also takes him out of position for rebounding.

Hayes has been absolutely awful this series but Gobert can't capitalize because he has no offensive game himself.

He has 2 offensive rebounds and 8 points in 2 games against Rui and Lebron.
That's pathetic.
He's one of the biggest players in the nba. If you're going to suck on defense b/c every team pulls him out onto the perimeter every single postseason, at least make up for it on the other end and punish them for going small against you. If he can't do that, then what's the point of him being on the court?

In this series, I think he'll be on the court mostly to spell Naz Reid. Otherwise he's not going to have much value because he's never been a threat offensively and isn't helping much defensively on the perimeter.
