Just in from on3

NCAA find no evidence anybody on staff new about Connor stallions

NCAA made clear to Michigan from beginning of investigation that vacated wins are reserved for ineligible player related cases

Any team who decided to back down to the NCAA threats over the last 30 years must feel like such fools at this point.

Pure cope

quote:

According to the document, the tipster derived from Michigan’s own campus. The unnamed source, which the NCAA has not disclosed, appears to have worked at the school, at least at one point. Michigan believes the confidential leaker was used by the NCAA to produce at least some of the charges in the notice of allegations, something in which it expresses “concern.”

Believing Chris Balas when he’s been 100% wrong about this entire scandal is fricking hilarious.

LSU self vacated all wins from the 2012-2015 seasons so the NCAA must've had them dead to rights.

Straight from the report

Perhaps the most interesting text came in April 2023. Stalions sent a note to Moore that Central Michigan assistant coach Jake Kostner planned to visit the facility to meet with Moore. Central Michigan opened the 2023 season with Michigan State, which UM regularly played. Ironically enough, Stalions is believed to have attended that game - CMU vs. Michigan State — while in disguise. In fact, CMU fired Kostner last fall as the NCAA investigated the matter of Stalions' alleged appearance on the sideline of the game.

Scott Woodward at LSU has to be the only AD in the country that’s still scared of the NCAA. Pisses me off to no end

No, reread my post. Any team who backed down to the NCAA much feel like absolute fools right now. LSU especially.

What y'all got caught doing with Vadal Alexander and his dad is still against the rules even now.

Another thing that pisses me off. If you’re gonna steal money from a fricking children’s hospital, why are we giving it to Vadal Alexander of all people? We couldn’t give it to oh I don’t know, Leonard Fournette, or one of the 5 or 5 kids or a good quarterback? We literally blew the game against Bama in 2014 because Vandal Alexander got a personal foul when we were inside the Bama 5 with like a minute left. Sorry for turning this Michigan thread into an LSU melt.

There are no rules and there is no authority enforcing this.

My point is not about LSU not doing something in that, just that again, they must feel completely silly to buy in when the people who are monitoring this stuff are completely powerless.

Shows you how awful the USC leadership was.

They hired their lawyers, sure.....but approached it naively in good faith.

When Pete Carroll and Mike Garrett were shocked by the crazy sanctions, shows how the school...just didn't get they were dealing with a Cabal and didn't have reps or inside guys in the NCAA infractions Committee like smart (ahem) Schools who Roll and knew due to a history of infractions, how you can turn the tide in your favor before the fact. USC will forever rue how they botched it....and failed to see how the case was just USC celebrity culture animosity by jealous School AD's,and Presidents on the NCAA Committee.

But LSU has to fire their basketball coach and strip Les Miles from a bunch of wins. Shows which universities make the rules and which don’t.
