After seeing the Rams somehow land a 2026 first for their pick right after I became a little disappointed but yes once some of the OTs started to fall down the board a bit it made total sense to try to trade back to the early 2nd

Yep. And what is the deal with wearing hoodies under a sports coat? I thought it was just goofy Schefter but is this a thing now?

Daboll's job is literally on the line and so if he's betting on Dart instead of Sanders you know who the better QB is.

Here's the thing though. Daboll's job is on the line this year, not in two or three years, this year. Dart is still a project and if he is playing at all this year it is because both Wilson and Winston are hurt and if that ends up being the case they should have drafted an offensive lineman here instead of a quarterback. Dart can't save Daboll's job this year, maybe he could save it in 2026 or 2027 but someone still needs to save Daboll's job this year for that to happen. This just seems like someone has challenged the Giants personel department to act as disfunctionally as the Jets and they took the challenge.

Texans got the better return IMO

2026 is too far out. Texans window is the next few years. Rather have the 2/3 this year and 3rd next than a first 2 years out and the 46th pick

especially since the texans don't have any 4th or 5th round picks this year

The problem with this theory is when was the last time a team traded back into the first round to pick a linebacker?

Without it the television lights give them the skin tone of Paul Bearer.

When the price is that cheap, I don’t think it really matters the position. Eagles likely had a huge drop off on their board after Campbell and didn’t want to have to either stick and pick or trade down if he wasn’t there so paid a small price to go up a spot and the guy they want

You can do that kind of stuff when you draft extremely well for a decade, have a solid core coming off a Super Bowl run, and almost always have one more picks that everyone else.

Wouldn’t have happen if they had a draft party on a boat in Lake Minnetonka.

It was cold but luckily no rain and winds were pretty calm. Today just sucks. My blood has thinned

We were talking with Kyle Kennard’s agent. Nice guy. Go Gamecocks.

Those might be the three reasons, but Acho definitely inverted the order of importance.

In reality it is:

1. Questioning his ceiling - by far the most important reason. 99% of why he wasn't drafted in the first round.

2. Confidence exceeding abilities - if you think the guy is arrogant and can't back it up, I could see not wanting him in the locker room.

3. Not code-switching - by far the least important reason, maybe .00001% of the reason he fell out of the first round but most likely 0%.

His analysis is dead on … and IMO he’s unfairly getting torn a new a-hole on X for No. 1 by people who didn’t watch the video, if you watch the video you will see that he conveyed nothing racial with No. 1 and he didn’t say Sanders shouldn’t have done No. 1, he matter of factly stated that people often have to try to create the best possible impression and perception of themselves when they’re meeting a prospective new employer, and Sanders just refused to do that.
