NHL just took a huge dump on the NBA

Sucks that Canada won, but the league was the winner. These games are technically meaningless, but you have dejected looks on the faces of the losing team, intense crowds, and players gutting it out through injuries.
The difference in the competitive nature of these guys versus the NBA is incredible.

The thing about it is, aside from the players taking pride in their country, you can’t go half arse in hockey. If you go half arse in hockey you’re likely to get your head taken off.

Professional hockey is the most pure sport in the world and I don’t think it’s particularly close. Every single one of those guys would go out and die on the ice if that’s what it took.

I've watched about 10 minutes of the NBA this season. 10 minutes of Luka's first game with the Lakers. Normally make an effort to watch Pels game. The stupid in season tournament, dumbass courts and Pels sucking and not giving shite, have made it unwatchable.

My point is there is no correlation because the NBA players have proven themselves on the world stage playing a sport that was invented in America and not Canada.

That’s crazy talk. MMA is the most pure sport in the world people have been competing in combat long before they were skating around on ice with those gay arse sticks

Everyone is glazing the NHL right now and rightfully so, but let’s not forget the league moronically denied us best on best international hockey for a long time.
