Hunt is best and if you remove Ott and T-boob, those other shows would be great. Matt is so bad, unfunny, pompous, and very repetitive with tired schtick. As it stands, it’s Hunt first and the others are unlistenable because of Ott and T-boob. Matt makes my ears bleed.

Agree. When T-Bob sticks to actual sports and stays focused he does a decent job. It's when he gets on a tirade about something non-sports or Disney, or GOT, then it terrible.

1. Our very own HuntTheFan. Hunt runs a tight ship with good level headed analysis and no dumb shite like the other shows.
2. OTB- I fully understand the T-Bob hate. But Hester is great and I like that they sometimes talk about random stuff especially in the dog days of summer (or basketball season)
3. AFR- from a pure sports talk perspective it’s not bad but the constant advertising and HILARIOUS inside jokes make it unlistenable for me.
4. Live at Lunch- All I can say is free Hanagriff. I’d rather be deaf than listen to Jimmy Ott. Dude cannot complete a sentence without stammering. And Baton Rouge definitely needs to hear from 6 different slimy Vegas betting experts for 3 hours a day. And Hanny, the best radio man in Baton Rouge can’t even talk. This show is godawful.
They need to put Hanagriff and Hester back on a show. That would easily be the best show in BR.

1000. AFR - He will say the same thing/make the same point 10 times before moving on. I used to listen to Moscona on my 5 min. ride home from work and it was fine. Now driving 40 min. home from work I can't even put it on 104.5 to listen to him ramble.

Back during COVID T-Bob started getting political. When you add his normal insufferable personality with his left-leaning political opinions, I just had to “tap out” and stop listening to the whole station.

Matts arguments sounds rehearsed. I watched him and T Bob wrap up show on YouTube once. It was like a couple teenagers that just learned how to curse. It was terrible

1. Hunt Palmer. He is the best, he’s easy to follow, you can understand him. Not arrogant
2 OTB. Hester is solid and keeps you wanting more. T Bob is good when he is dialed in, but that is becoming rare. And then when he starts to talk in different voices and he talks with a lisp, I don’t know if he’s trying to be flamboyant or what but it’s annoying. Occasionally, he says things that are pushing the limit. Now that does not bother me, but I could see where it would cause concern on the morning drive for some parents that are listening to the show and have young kids in the car. It’s a sports show. It shouldn’t have any sexual stuff mentioned. Also Hester has a show in the afternoon on XM radio. Very good show. I could actually see him leaving 104.5 one day.
AFR. Matt has really taken on the persona of an arrogant, pompous know it all. When Saban retired I thought he handled that very immaturely and it was embarrassing to the fan base. His inside jokes are horrible. He goes way overboard with that laugh. And he talks down to his crowd. He tries to be like Colin Cowherd And it’s just boring. But if I’m correct, he is the big dog now and he can pretty much do what he wants.
Live at lunch. As soon as I hear Jimmy I switch it. He he’s not likable. His voice is annoying. He is an arrogant pompous prick. Poor Charlie. Charlie needs out of that spot with Jimmy. He deserves better.
All that being said, Baton Rouge sports radio is better than a lot of markets. And until advertisers pull their money because they don’t like certain commentators or hosts, nothing will change.

OTB - During Football season, its pretty good. Offseason struggles.

Hunt is the best and its not close. For those of you who say BR has shitty shows try and listen to the Patrick Netherton show in Shreveport! The worst show on any topic in the history of radio.
