Damn. He was the voice of many great LSU football moments.

Also, what is Brittney doing with her life?

Yep. His voice is etched in my brain. Was awesome that we had so many night games on espn.

Wasn't he on the call of "The Night The Barn Burned"... the LSU game at Auburn where the old gym next door to the football stadium caught fire during the game b/c someone failed to fully extinguish their BBQ coals?

Growing up I loved listening to him in Omaha. He was the voice of Omaha for me

My fondest memories of him were when he called College World Series games. Always seemed like a genuinely nice guy.

The voice of Thursday night. Maybe the original voice, I can't remember.

I loved him on the old Sunday Night broadcast with Theisman and Paul Maguire.

Still one of the more odd moments in broadcasting history. Todd Blackledge was completely flummoxed. “Is she here?”

Always enjoyed him doing the college World Series. College football was amazing with him and Ron Franklin calling ESPN games and Verne doing CBS.

To this day I'm amazed that people don't get it was a joke. It was a nail biter game (wasn't the comment made at the start of OT?) and the comment was made in jest as if "this game is boring, let's talk about something else".

It was a joke.

Haven't heard his name in a LONG LONG time. I liked him a lot, and obviously especially this call. RIP.
