Saban doxxed, hounded by anonymous callers following Alabama's playoff berth

“I’ve had probably over 250 anonymous callers today, calling me every name in the book, talking about how we shouldn’t be in the playoff,” Saban told his players during Alabama’s awards banquet Sunday night in a video obtained by TideIllustrated. “So we still have naysayers out there. We still have players who don’t believe in us.”
Alabama earned the fourth and final playoff spot, vaulting up four spots in the rankings after beating previously top-ranked Georgia, 27-24, in Saturday’s SEC Championship. The Crimson Tide’s inclusion in the playoff was controversial as it jumped undefeated ACC champion Florida State for the final spot. This year is the first time an undefeated Power Five champion has failed to make the playoff.
That led to some angry Seminoles fans.
“Most of these people are from Florida,” Saban said, drawing a laugh from the crowd. “I don’t know how in the hell they got my number, but it is out there.”

I used to have the phone numbers of a few head coaches around the SEC. Always wondered if I got an actual number they would likely pick up at, or if it was a phone number specifically for giving to non-family and non-close friends that they only check occasionally. I guess Saban gives out the real deal

He didn’t get 250 anonymous calls. He probably didn’t get 2 anonymous calls. He’s lying.
If the calls were anonymous, how would he know they were from Florida? He didn’t say they were from Florida State fans or people who supported FSU over Alabama - he said the callers were “from Florida.”

You think Florida State is a tougher opponent than any of the three I listed? I think Florida State should've been in the playoff, but any of those three teams probably beats them today.

Fake and gay. Saban made this up to try to instill more "us against the world and no one respects Alabama" bullshite into his players' heads.
No one thinks Alabama isn't good. People think you shouldn't be in the playoff because you lost to Texas and Florida State is 13-0.
