Of the ESPN hype machine. He was hyped up by ESPN and it's pundits because of Deion.
NFL GM's and owners know better. The last QB, brought to us by the ESPN Hype Machine, was Johnny Manziel.

With that said I'm surprised the Browns weren't stupid enough to fall for it again with Sanders

Deion halled the buffaloes to a bowl with this trash QB. CU might be playoff threat without sheduer

The truth is he’s a 2nd round talent that is a massive chode and told multiple teams not to draft him

I think he’d likely be drafted if there wasn’t the circus around him and he wasn’t a chode in the interviews.

He’s clearly not terrible but he’s not worth the bullshite and the teams that really need a qb likely want the freedom to draft someone better next year. For most 3rd round picks this would be easy. For sanders it’ll be another damn circus.

ETA: solid consecutive use of the word chode glorious.

AKA the professionals and the adults in the room who didn't bow down to the agenda.

he was never a top pick, it was all media created propaganda.

Agree.
I think for now it’s gotten so bad that the zeitgeist is that “we don’t want to be the team that took that guy”.

This quote right here from Deion Sanders is exhibit A on why Shedeur Sanders remains undrafted after 3 rounds.

If his last name was Saunders, would we ever be mentioning this?

Exactly….and ESPN keeps saying they’re baffled. Money bags tried to dictate where he would play. It’s a PRIVILEGE to get drafted.

It is also very telling that seemingly none of his teammates are saying shite in social media. If he was a good dude or good teammate they’d be all over twitter about this. Unless I’m missing something. I know Hunter had some words but that dude is just a nice, amazing kid so he’s probably just being polite.

In contrast you have a kid like Milroe who frankly isn’t that good (unless playing LSU). But he gets drafted (he has potential). He however looks to be an awesome human being who is willing to work hard and shows up for his teammates. So a team like Seattle is willing to take a risk on him.

I was going to post this exact though! NONE of his teammates have said a single thing about him (positive or negative about him) and this is exhibit A of why the GMs are running for the hills to pick someone else. You have to have at least one friend stick up publicly for you on the team.

Sanders is kinda like a goodlooking woman that is batshit crazy. Yeah he is a decent QB but his old man is a headache, the kid is entitled, so teams say with all the baggage he's not worth the pick.

He would have to be a can't miss prospect for these GM'S to have to deal with this crazy arse dad.
Like I said the kid is talented but not as much as ESPN and kiper thinks.

Tim.T , Colin.K , Vince .Y all had talent and should have played longer but the circus around them was too much for teams to deal with.
Some of these backup QBs aren't very talented but they stay quite they do what their told and keep a job for years.

Chase Daniel comes to mind.

$41 million in earnings
14 years

You never heard a peep from the guy. He played a total of 5 games in the NFL.

That is what they want from a backup.
