Schools that have changed or altered their colors

The Kansas - Bill Self thread made me think of this.
What are some schools that have changed or altered their colors? And, if you're able to provide some insight why they did as such, please let us know.
KANSAS - Kansas went away from their traditional royal blue and red and briefly went with a weird navy blue thing about a decade ago.
OLE MISS - Ole Miss, while having the sky blue helmets in the 80's, seemingly is placing an emphasis on that as opposed to their traditional navy and red
BAYLOR - Baylor has essentially done away with their gold look and has adopted a yellow.

Michigan State went the Eagles route of darkening their green, perhaps too much.

The BYU "new" isn't new. Just a return to normal.

One of my younger co-workers wasn't even aware of the BYU bib unis. He didn't even realize that was BYU at first glance.

They got rid of the bib after one or two seasons, but they continued hanging onto that color scheme much longer than they should have before going back to their traditional look.

Powder blue helmets have been around in Oxford a lot longer than that. But I agree, and I wish it weren't the case.
Colorado
For whatever reason, Colorado wore powder blue for a while instead of black. These particular uniforms appear to have silver, blue, and gold, the color of the sky, I'm told.

Georgia
Georgia used to wear "silver britches." Now they're just gray.

Michigan State
Michigan State used to wear a lighter green than they feature now.

Oregon
I don't even know where to begin with Oregon. They've gone from light green to hunter green and seemingly back again.

Yeah, but the thread was schools that altered their colors. Kansas and Pitt did the same thing going to a bad look before returning to form.

A lot of the schools mentioned have gone back to their original colors (i.e. Pitt going back to royal blue and yellow; Oregon using apple green again and not forest green; BYU going back to royal blue and white instead of navy/gold)
Teams that have completely changed their colors:
Ole Miss with the powder blue everything. It started with helmets in the 60s(?) due to an error in the paint mixing and it just stuck around until the 90s. Powder blue as a primary color for uniforms started, IIRC, with their baseball team doing it on Sundays and then the rest of their programs followed suit, so much so in football that they rarely ever seem to wear navy anymore.
Michigan State going from a kelly green to a dark hunter hreen.
Minnesota going from more of a crimson red to a maroon red and from true gold to a yellow gold.
Baylor going from a true gold to highlighter yellow.
Kansas has gone back and forth between navy and royal blue for decades.
Oklahoma used a lighter shade of red prior to the late 70s
MTSU used to have red as a secondary color and don't use it at all anymore
Rice stopped using silver for years until recently going back to it.
Red used to be a secondary color for Buffalo, and they don't use it at all anymore
Kent St went from true gold to yellow gold
Colorado St went from yellow gold to true gold
Hawaii went from having rainbows to a complete rebrand to warriors using green and black

Notre Dame dropped navy blue jerseys and navy numbers on the white jerseys from the middle of 1977 through 1980. Wore green jerseys at home and wore green numbers on the white jerseys on the road.
