So was the first round hype of Shaduer completely manufactured by ESPN?

Did the scouts think he was arse the whole time and this was just BS to push clicks?

There may have been some NFL teams willing to take a chance on the first round

If his interview process was as bad as claimed then he did this to himself

He is a flawed prospect though so there is a chance he was never looked at as a top 3 QB in the draft. He gives up bad sacks that cost his team points and he is relatively small for an NFL guy. Shorter guys like Brees have had success in the NFL but those are the exception and not the rule.

I think he was a legit first round candidate but terrible interviews turned everyone off.

I suspect GMs think he’s an average QB who likely comes with too much distraction that outweighs his ability.

On the one hand, Deion is the reason for the undue hype. On the other, he’s the reason NFL don’t want to deal with the headache of having his kid on the team

If his last name is Smith and was a relatively normal kid with a normal dad, I think he gets taken in the 2nd or 3rd, especially this year

But he and his dad are nightmares so here we are

Agreed. The distractions create too much downside risk for whatever upside he may have. If he played any other position other than QB this probably wouldn't matter as much. But a top pick in a QB either makes or breaks a franchise for at least 5 years if you get it right or wrong.

If the "draft experts" at ESPN had any clue wtf they were talking about they'd actually be employees by NFL teams.

ESPN "experts" exist to sell Modelo or whatever other shite they happen to be advertising that week.

Not to get too philosophical on you here buddy but that's the only reason the NFL exists too

Honestly dude was 13-12 in 2 years at Colorado so definitely overhyped. On top of that he prolly looses half those games if it wasn't for hunter.

Amazing teaching moment here to teach all of our kids in this world......

In a day and age When you think it's cool to blast your life and video everything and share on social media....this Sanders story shows you it can completely come back and bite you in the arse.

it is worse than that. He was pur taking sacks rather than throwing the ball away so he avoid incompletions and hurt his percentage

Hopefully the stat padding isn't that extreme. But I know they were playing some hero ball shite against North Dakota State that came dangerously close to them losing the game.

No he wasn’t. Weak arm, kind of frail, accurate only on short throws, bad pocket awareness and only decent mobility. This was a hype machine that got picked apart by people who actually watch film.
