I sold season tickets for almost $4k on Stubhub. Was to be paid on September 14. Still no money and SH gives no explanation why. I’ve called numerous times. “Your case has been escalated” is all I get. This is like stealing money since SH keeps the float.

Anyone else not getting paid on time by SH?

Is selling your tickets before the season the new leaving at halftime?

I'm sure telling everyone you sold your tickets before the season started is a good way to get some help

most ticket sites like that don't pay out until after the actual game
are they paying you on a game by game basis?

they don't want to have to do refunds if by chance a game gets canceled for a possible hurricane or some other event

I have been fricked on stubhub a few times and will never use them again. I use Seatgeek and have had no issues.

My problems have been more with purchasing than selling. Last year I bought Stadium Club tix but the tickets weren't 206C as they were listed. They were Section 206 in the north end zone. They were listed as club seats and priced as club seats. It took me a week of phone calls and emails to get them to refund me. They tried to convince me I got a fair price for the game. Club seat price for NEZ.

I've also have bought tix to LSU baseball that weren't in the row as advertised. When I try to return them for being listed wrong, I'd get a response like "the tickets you received are as good as the ones you intended to purchase so we won't do anything about it". Well, that's bullshite if you are trying to take a bunch of kids to a game and you want them on the same row instead of spread out over a whole section.

tl;dr; frick stubhub

People wonder why the stands are always empty on the east side and around CFB. Can’t tell you how many people just buy and sell tickets around us… it’s sad. Only reason I’ve kept my seats are the people, like myself, that don’t even think about selling.

I truly wish they would have never built the west and east upper decks. They should have left Tiger Stadium as it was before those upgrades

I used to use StubHub a lot, but got scared off by nightmare stories here and elsewhere. I have had good experiences with SeatGeek. I hear tickpick is pretty good, too.

Stubhub sucks donkey dicks. Will not use if I can help it. Got different tics than what I bought for LSU vs USC. They said "we will correct seats or give you back 25%". Got home and they forgot all about it. What they do is collect the penalty from the original seller( I believe its in the contract a seller signs with SH) Then they stonewall people like me in a effort to keep it. Rotten company.

Have filed complaints, made a lot of emails and phone calls. BBB case filed. etc.

I used Stubhub to buy basketball tickets for LSU vs. North Texas in 2020. Game was canceled due to covid.

I got my $25 or whatever it was refund last year. It only took 3 years for me to get back $25.

Good luck with your $4,000.

I've used SH many times for buying and selling and have never had issues.

One thing I do strongly dislike about them that is somewhat newer is waiting until up to ~10 days after an event to pay. I have no idea how that works when you sell an entire season ticket package so I can't provide any info to OP's question. But I would think in a worst case scenario situation, they may wait until after the final home game to ensure the buyer got everythign promised.

when you sold the tickets, you should have received an email outlining when you would get paid....can you post that?

Chicken-I can send a screenshot of the email I received in August saying I’d be paid 5-8 days after event. The “event”, defined as the end of the first home game, was September 7. My online account later said I was scheduled to be paid September 14 (no copy). Now it says September 26. I also have an email from a customer rep saying I would be paid September 22. Customer rep today told me I’d be paid today. Tell me how to send info to you privately.

I tried using Seatgeek but it doesn’t allow listing of season tickets except for MLB. My brother and I cannot go to any games this year, thus selling season tickets was the way to go.

I assure you that this is a common issue this month for numerous people that sold football season tickets with Stubhub. They're waiting way past the 5-8 business days after the event date (first home game).

I have sold some T Swift tickets for her NOLA via StubHub - apparently there have been "issues" with the buyer receiving the tickets from me (which I don't believe for a second)...I am already uneasy about this transaction, and now reading this sure doesn't help that feeling

Same boat here, looks like I’m finally getting paid Thursday. Stubhub has been terrible ever since Covid.

Froghair, are you sure your payment details are correct and they have the correct way to pay you...ie, bank account and routing number?
