I thought UCLA was only good in fairy tales
Meant for someone else but not for me
There’s no way they could get me
That's the way it seemed
Disappointment haunted all their dreams
And then I saw their price, now Iamaleava

I feel like Tennessee should at least get a player to be named later or a 6th round draft pick in addition to Aguilar.

Joey Aguilar didn't even play a single game at UCLA. He transferred this offseason to UCLA, then left to Tenn. I guess UCLA gave him the boot when they brought in I am a Leava

From making $2M/yr in Tenn where taxes are low and the $ goes a long way to $1.5M which is just above minimum wage in CA. What a great business move by Nico.

LOL so you can sign in December then transfer before even playing a game to get more money?? This is a joke. Blow up college football. These college athletes are officially the most greed filled humans now.

I don’t think UCLA gave him the boot. Pretty sure he left on his own because he wanted to start and the writing was on the wall that he was going to become the backup if he stayed at UCLA once they got Iamleava

If the school can constantly look for a player to replace you, why is it a problem for the player to leave? I'm sure he went to UCLA with the intentions of starting, and UCLA had other plans.

It would be crazy if a team actually traded a recruit.... Give us your QB, 200,000.00, and an OL from your next recruiting class.

The players have not changed. This is how they have always been. The ones who turned this into a fire are the coaches who kept upping the game in recruiting. Coaches went from contacting a kid via official letterhead to going to games on Friday nights in person to really show their interest, to then going to their houses to hug mama and offer Benjamin’s, to then flying helicopters to a high school on a random Tuesday, the Porsches, Chargers, jobs for family, etc.

And the players keep asking for more and the coaches have kept giving it to them.

The coaches can stop all this if they simply stopped recruiting idiots to beat their buddies idiots. But they won’t and the players won’t stop asking. I find it fascinating and love all of it.

The smart schools stopped bending over for these players decades ago even while the losses stacked up.

Now, teams can’t stop because they have head coaches making 8plus million per year. Kirby is being paid 13million a year and his staff is closer to 20 million a year in total. They can’t stop pandering to these players because of that.
