Happy for Michael to get that hit.

Was hoping it would take me ‘me-ing’ to pull us out.
Tie game. Let’s get a win against the Twins PLS. They are 1 of like 2 teams on our level which is… bad.

We win a game where our big rally came without a homer. “They’re comin’ together Pepper, they’re comin’ together!”

Thank God for the Rockies and the White Sox!

Man I love those red jerseys. May have to buy one of those overpriced jerseys at the game Tuesday.
Do they still sell the foam tomahawks at the game?

And the Cardinals. How Oliver Marmol still has not been fired is beyond reason.

We may never lose again

Already lost today because of Acuna’s tweet.

No, Snit absolutely deserved that tweet.

Why is Ronald upset about something that happened 6 years ago, or however many it's been? I think everyone should be benched in a game for that type of play, but I was raised to be held accountable. This generation, as evidenced by Roland's tweet, is too sensitive. Maybe Snit just realized most of these kids won't get the point, and will just get mad and cause problems in the locker room. Like Acuna publicly throwing a teammate under the bus in order to make a point about Snitker.
I can think of numerous times where Acuna has made the same mistake since that time he got pulled from a game, and he has never been disciplined for any of them. So maybe, just maybe, he should let it go and stop talking crap while he's away and doing nothing for the team. That's poor leadership.

Whatever you say. This team is completely eaten up with an “aw shucks” attitude about every aspect of their play, so I don’t mind someone being an a-hole. I guarantee you players will think about shite like this going forward, and that’s because someone said something out loud. Good for Ronald.

I guess I'm going to be in the minority here and an old man yelling at clouds, but RAJ was absolutely in the wrong here. Team struggling, finally making a push to turn things around, and he does this? WTF kind of teammate does this? Especially when he's not even playing right now. His benching 6 years ago was a culmination of things, not just one lazy play. And this is not me taking up for Snit. I honestly think we need new blood at the manager's spot. But Acuna running to twitter like a 16 year old girl because his feelings got hurt does absolutely nothing to help this team.

You’ll never be in the minority with this take. Most Braves fans over 35 hate on Ronald any chance they get.

I don't hate him. And I actually appreciate his swag as a contrast to the buttoned-down approach of some of the other guys.
But would prefer for him to not act like a spoiled child.

I'd prefer our manager not be a fricking idiot but here we are.

Whatever I say? It's not about me. I'm an observer, just like you. I'm also an adult, and therefore entitled to an opinion on how adults should behave. I'm not a perfect person, and do not, therefore, demand perfection of others. There are a lot of things that rub me the wrong way, that I say nothing about. But this is over the top. This idea that the team needs a spark, by any means, is erroneous. Calling out your manager, and throwing your teammate under the bus in the process, is not a spark. It's an unhealthy distraction, and worse yet, shows a lack of accountability on the part of Acuna, that rather than recognizing his actions were wrong those years ago, he's more concerned that someone else gets equal treatment. And, as I said, Ronald has repeatedly made the same mistake of dogging it, watching the flight of the ball, only for it to come up short, and he costs himself an extra base. But he has never been disciplined after that first time.
And I saw your comment, claiming everyone over 35 hates Ronald. I hate no one. This has nothing to do with hate. Ronald has a history of behavior that is beneath someone who is supposed to be a leader on the team. You want to talk about the team needing a spark? We used to have a guy named Freddie Freeman who demanded hustle from his teammates, and lead by example. Ronald is in no position to call out anyone, when he is either watching the flight of the ball, sulking when he's in a slump, getting mad nearly any time someone dares to pitch inside, as if they are all out to hit hurt him, and now whining about supposed unequal treatment, all while not even being with the team.
Rather than you, and people who think like you do, getting mad at people like me and calling us haters, maybe you should consider that there is a reason Ronald has drawn the ire of so many. I think Ronald's benching likely had to do with a lot more than just one play. Again, it's a pattern of behavior with him. Kelenic admitted he blew it. Does Ronald ever call himself out? Does he ever look like he's learned anything? You might think this is hate speech, by I promise my parents always loved me, but they would rip into me if I didn't act right. I'm not Acuna's dad, but as a fan who wants to see him do well, I also get frustrated seeing how he behaves at times.
And it's not just him. There are others like him, who get on my nerves just as much, if not more. But Ronald plays for my team. And, as I said before, if it were up to me, everyone who makes the kind of mistake that Kelenic made would be benched for it. And that's why I wouldn't have a job as a manager in today's world. People call you a tyrant, a dinosaur, or whatever else. I'm not even 40, and somehow my views are considered outdated by people one generation younger. I think that's sad.
