Why would NFL success play into how good the college football program is?

Draft picks, 1st rounders, overall number 1s, etc sure. But Pro Bowls and HOFers? That's an individual success at the NFL level.

May as well include Super Bowl rings.

Yeah I think it's dumb to include Pro Bowlers/All Pro/pro football hall of famers.
