Its time for a word to describe a player that stands out from all the generational talents there are. The term means you might only see one guy like this for a generation but yet per tv, there are so many.

Im mainly talking about the nfl draft prospects. Abdul carter, ward, hunter, couple of randoms all coined as potential generational talent. Term used ad nasueaem. You cant even know that until theyve played pro ball

any post tiger golfers? Tiger is like almost above generational talent to once in a hundred years+ years if your lucky talent/maybe never again talent. Not relative to jack but relative to impact on the game. Its hard to coin a current guy cause they are kinda all the same and liv

There are 5 that come to mind for me that I just knew there were gonna be generational.

Jim Brown
Barry Sanders
Gale Sayers
Peyton Manning
Jerry Rice

Fantastic list. Id have to say lebron james too. I know people dont like him but i was pretty sure he would be a great player. Didn't think he could still play at a high level in 2025 though

Well you said nfl so that’s what I said. As far as basketball
Kareem was gonna be the next Wilt.
I knew MJ was going to unreal by being able to freelance his talents once he got away from Dean Smiths system. Magic and Bird are a given.

Bron is a freak athlete and what he is doing at 40 is unreal.
