And the New York Yankees have appeared in 40 of them!

That’s over 1/3 for those bad at math

Fun fact, 10 different teams have won the World Series since the Yankees last won one. (including the Red Sox who have won two since)

16 different teams have played in the World Series since the Yankees last played in one. (Including the Mets)

Mediocrity.

Since their last pennant; the Astros have won 4 pennants, Rangers 3, Red Sox 2, and Tigers, Royals, Indians, Rays have all won 1.

Let’s hope for a 200 year regression to the mean.

Yeah, they absolutely wrecked shite when the league was only 16 teams and a few of them served as de facto minor league clubs for the Yankees. Congrats on seeing those dominant 40s and 50s clubs. Must be quite the memories.

. So if the Yankees don’t win a championship once a decade the rest of the league calls it a success shows you the level of dominance we possess. That’s like saying fun fact it’s been 14 years since the saints have won a Super Bowl.

There have been 14 World Series since 2009. And the Yankees have appeared in 0 of them.

That is "not a single fricking one" for the OP, who is bad at life.

Remember that time when you didn’t even know the correct year of the Yankees last World Series title?

I got my years swapped I didn’t forget. I could tell you everything about that team. Sorry I’ve drank since then. And when you’ve won as much as the Yankees have it’s not as easy to remember as that 1 golden year so many of fans have to remember for their team.

This whole schtick is strange. What is your end game here? You are better than all of us because you root for a team that hasn't won shite in forever?

Who has been the better franchise in the last 20 years?

Yankees or Red Sox?
